Project Home
iPolyglot is a web site for language learners which allows memorizing words. Users will be able to create their own libraries of words and later do various drills in form of interactive games using these libraries. The drilling module will gather statistics about successful word hits and for each next drilling session present least known words. This will allow to concentrate on those words that are least known and skip the words that are easily memorizable. Project future features:- Sharing words/libraries with other users (e.g. teacher to group of students);
- Affiliation with well known language learning websites (rosettastone.com, etc.) for creating drilling sessions based on their learning programs;
- New drilling games based on knowledge of synonyms, verb conjugation, etc.
- Drilling application on mobile devices.

- Relational database MySQL
- Object-Relational Mapping solution Hibernate
- Apache Tomcat servlet engine/web server
- JSP along with Struts MVC infrastructure, JSTL
- SOAP Web-services using Apache Axis
- Abovementioned miscellaneous tools (ValueList, Struts Menu)
